Meet Kat
Hi, I’m Kat (she/her).
Finding a therapist can be a tough process.
I bet you’re wondering, “Is Kat the right therapist for me?” Let me tell you about the kind of therapist I am.
I’m the kind of therapist who:
goes to therapy myself! I believe in therapy and I promise I won’t pretend to be perfect.
is a lifelong learner. I love reading the latest therapy books/articles and attending trainings so I can constantly bring my best to my clients.
will never judge you. I believe you are so much more than the things that have happened to you or the things you have done.
sees real progress in my clients. My hope is that you won’t need me anymore someday!
understands that systems in our culture can greatly impact your mental and emotional wellbeing.
affirms and works with people of all gender identities, sexual orientations, races, cultural and ethnic backgrounds, abilities, and body sizes.

Meet Reggie, the Virtual Therapy Dog
Reggie is an 8-year-old labradoodle and my constant therapy companion. If he’s not at my feet or under my desk, Reggie may pop his head in the frame occasionally, usually in a moment when a laugh or some cute dog content is needed. Working with me also means working with Reggie.
