Meet Kat

Hi, I’m Kat (she/her).

Finding a therapist can be a tough process.

I bet you’re wondering, “Is Kat the right therapist for me?” Let me tell you about the kind of therapist I am.

I’m the kind of therapist who:

  • goes to therapy myself! I believe in therapy and I promise I won’t pretend to be perfect.

  • is a lifelong learner. I love reading the latest therapy books/articles and attending trainings so I can constantly bring my best to my clients.

  • will never judge you. I believe you are so much more than the things that have happened to you or the things you have done.

  • sees real progress in my clients. My hope is that you won’t need me anymore someday!

  • understands that systems in our culture can greatly impact your mental and emotional wellbeing.

  • affirms and works with people of all gender identities, sexual orientations, races, cultural and ethnic backgrounds, abilities, and body sizes.

Meet Reggie, the Virtual Therapy Dog

Reggie is an 8-year-old labradoodle and my constant therapy companion. If he’s not at my feet or under my desk, Reggie may pop his head in the frame occasionally, usually in a moment when a laugh or some cute dog content is needed. Working with me also means working with Reggie.
