What to Expect When You Make an Appointment

  • Your first step is to schedule a FREE 20-minute video consultation so we can both assess if I can meet your needs before scheduling an intake appointment.

  • Once an intake appointment is made, you will receive an email with a link to the intake forms. It will take about 30 minutes to complete. I ask that you complete the forms at least 24 hours before your appointment to give me a chance to review it before we meet.

  • You will receive a reminder email and text 24 hours before your appointment. It will include the link to your video session. You can opt out of these reminders, if you prefer.

  • An intake session is longer than a standard session (80 minutes). We will review my practice policies, go over your forms in detail, talk about your goals for our work together, and allow ample time for questions you may have for me.

  • If you decide you’d like to work together, we will set up regular 50-minute appointments based on your schedule and mine.

  • A credit or debit card is placed on file during the intake process via a HIPAA-compliant, encrypted electronic health record program called Simple Practice and is automatically charged after every session.
